Microsoft awards NetApp as partner of the year in private cloud
Microsoft Partner of the Year award for Private Clouds 2012. This has been awarded NetApp for its work in helping partners and customers in private cloud solutions on Microsoft platforms. In addition, the company has been a finalist in the virtualization and management categories.
The award, received during the Microsoft Worldwide Partners Conference, acknowledges NetApp’s work on the private cloud. In fact, collaboration with Microsoft has borne both partners and customers:
NetApp has worked closely with Microsoft to provide a solution that enables customers to move from virtualisation environments to private clouds while reducing IT service and application costs by at least 50 percent.
More speed and possibilities with the combination of NetApp storage and the Microsoft private cloud under Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V and Microsoft System Center 2012.
FlexPod for Microsoft Private Cloud: This architecture, a benchmark in its industry and the first to be validated by Microsoft for its latest implementation of the Microsoft Private Cloud Fast Track program, with its unified guide, allows customers to offer faster transitions to the cloud, with less risks.
